Katie Walker

Katie Walker was awarded an MA in Furniture Design at London's Royal College of Art. Her elegant designs are achieved by the harmonious combination of structure and form. Her uncompromising commitment to quality and rigorous approach to the process of design has earned her prestigious Guild Marks by The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers (no. 366 & 373), The Wood Awards ‘Furniture Award' in 2011, and the Grand Designs ‘Furniture’ and ‘Product of the Year' Awards, amongst a litany of others.  Katie’s ongoing interest in the mathematical aspects of natural forms beget results that are iconic, contemporary classics and usable investments. In 2014, her work came to international attention after designing and crafting HRH Prince George's high chair. Katie Walker hand makes all of her fine furniture from from her studio in Pulborough, West Sussex, UK.
